Jason Rezaian, former Tehran bureau chief for the Washington Post, will kickoff the 2019 Spring Leadership Lecture Series in Angelico Concert Hall on the Dominican University of California campus on Monday, January 28, at 7 p.m.
Rezaian, who was convicted – but never sentenced – of espionage in a closed-door trial in Iran in 2015, will discuss his book Prisoner in conversation with comic and television host W. Kamau Bell. Rezaian, a native of Marin County once accused of being a spy, is now an opinion writer for the Post and contributor to CNN.
Tickets, which include an autographed copy of Prisoner, are $45. Click here to purchase tickets.
The lecture series is presented by Dominican’s Institute for Leadership Studies in partnership with Book Passage.
All lectures are held in Dominican’s Angelico Concert Hall. Doors open one hour prior to the programs. Free parking is available in the Conlan Center parking lot at the intersection of Acacia and Grand Avenues.
Tickets also can be purchased through Book Passage by calling (415) 927-0960 ext. 1 or visiting bookpassage.com/dominican.
