The Dominican women’s and men’s basketball teams host Azusa Pacific in Pacific West Conference games on Monday, December 17, in the Conlan Center on Secret Santa Night.
Led by Natalie Diaz, the leading scorer in the country in NCAA Division II women’s basketball, the Lady Penguins will take a six-game winning streak into their game at 5:30 p.m. They are tied with Azusa Pacific for first place in the PacWest standings.
The Penguin men tip off at 7:30 p.m. Cedric Thomas and Sam Averbuck are averaging double figures for the home team.
Dominican will be collecting toy donations for the children of Marin, Sonoma and Butte counties in conjunction with San Rafael Santa Cop with each donation getting spectator a free tickets to the PacWest doubleheader with Azusa Pacific.
General admission tickets are $5. Children in 8th grade and younger with a paying adult are admitted free. All Dominican students, faculty, and staff are admitted free as well with a valid Penguin Pass.
